Pachmarhi

It is one of the finest locations for nature lovers in the central part of India. The hill station ticks all boxes which makes the nature loving and fun-loving travellers pleased beyond expectations. Perched atop the Satpura range of forests at approximately 3200 feet above sea level, the charming weather of Pachmarhi impresses the tourists. Fill the storage space in your mind with the unending views of the forest cover, mountains, and beautiful landscape. The city is part of the Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve, which was formed in 1999. The forests in these reserves, which surround Pachmarhi, keep the weather pleasant throughout the year. Pachmarhi can be visited from September to June. The town is approximately 115 kilometres from Narmadapuram, the district headquarters, and about 210 kilometres from Bhopal. Pipariya is the nearest railway station, about 55 kilometres away, and Bhopal airport, about 210 kilometres away is the nearest airport.

Bee Falls
Located about 4 kilometres away from the town, it is a 100 feet high single stage waterfall. A descent of about 200 steps leads to the base of the waterfall. Visitors can reach the base of the waterfall by treading carefully on the sharp-edged rocks. During monsoon it is to be viewed from far.

Silver Fall
It is a long waterfall, about 200 feet in height, rolling down the surface of the hill into the deep valley. It is viewed from a viewpoint on the side, and those who are adventurous can trek to the base of the waterfall.

Chauragarh Temple
This ancient temple is located on a hilltop about 15 kilometres from the city. A hike up the hill through man made steps leads to the temple. On the way to this temple, the road passes through some cave temples known as Mahadev Temple, which deserve a visit.
