The Heart Of Incredible India
The name Madhya Pradesh comes from the fact that the state is smack dab in the middle of India. The slogan “The Heart of Incredible India” is more indicative of the fact that the state contains elements representative of the entirety of India. From its ancient architecture to its cutting-edge conveniences, culture, cuisine, and people, this state is like a miniature India all in its own right.
Abundance Of Cultural & Spiritual Heritage
Madhya Pradesh is one of the few states that is surrounded by other states on all its sides. Some of the oldest land on the Indian Subcontinent, the Gondwana plains, are located here. The Kumbh Mela, a massive fair, is held here once every twelve years. One of the most well-known historical sites in Madhya Pradesh is the Indore Glass Temple. As one of India’s 12 Jyotirlingas, the holy city of Ujjain holds a special significance for Hindus around the world. The great Sanchi Stupa constructed during King Ashoka’s reign is situated here in Bhopal. This area is home to the Barasingha and Tiger Reserve as well as the Bandhavgarh National Park.
