Assam

A Spectacle Of Exotic Beauty

Located in northeast India, the state of Assam is one of the country’s most pristine areas, boasting an abundance of natural beauty and rich historical traditions. Acres and acres of tea plantations dot the landscape of this state, which is also known as the “Blue Hills and Red River” region for its abundant natural beauty. Among the world’s top biodiversity hotspots, this state is well-known for being the sole remaining habitat of the critically endangered one-horned rhino.  The state is a tourist hotspot thanks to its stunning landscape, which includes the beautiful Brahmaputra River, stunning mountains, and diverse plant and animal life. Assam, one of India’s most picturesque states, serves as a portal to the country’s beautiful and largely undiscovered northeast.
