Located on a rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range is Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station. It is set on a high rocky plateau surrounded by forests. It is located 1,722 metres above sea level and is about three hours away from Udaipur. The serene Nakki Lake lies at the centre of this well-known tourist destination. Green hills, thoughtfully designed parks, and unusual rock formations, such as Toad Rock, which resembles a toad about to hop into the water, surround the lake. Near the lake’s southern shore is the Raghunath Temple, built in the fourteenth century. The most popular tourist activity at the lake is boating. Another well-liked spot is the hilltop at sunset, where visitors can take in breathtaking vistas of the sun going down.A temple dedicated to Dattatreya is located on Mount Abu’s Guru Shikhar, the highest point in the entire Aravalli range.
